I recently moved home after my divorce and team 9 were absolutely amazing they went above and beyond to help i wanted to use them for my sale and purchase but the X wife was set on using a different firm for the sale so it got a little complicated and as I say team 9 were absolutely brilliant I can not praise the way they delt with things in this matter enough Many thanks Graham Tyler

There was a catologue of negligence, major delays, errors and poor service: 1. Rude, abusive and uncooperative; 2. Held out two members of staff as qualified legal executives when they were not; 3. Failed to chase up the other side; 4. Asked for information they already had in their possession; 5. Were slow and lacked any initiative; 6. Staff are mostly unqualified and incompetent; 7. Caused major delays to the conveyance; 8. Failed to register documents even after we had complained; 9. Accused us of blackmail and coercion and threatened us with the police on three separate occasions when we merely asked for compensation for poor service I would advise all dissatisfied clients to make a formal complaint to the Legal Ombudsman or sue them. The Ombudsman is a free service and is impartial. Our complaints were upheld by the Ombudsman and the firm ordered to pay £500 compensation. They made two other errors for which they voluntarily paid us £500 in compensation and gave apologies. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life and I have line managed six large legal departments in councils. They have almost the highest number of complaints upheld against them by the Ombudsman for the size of company. The company is not fit for purpose and their senior managers are incompetent and threaten their clients when things go wrong instead of putting them right.. Lambert Pugh accepted me as the legal representative of their clients and then tried to ban my review on a review site. They are unprofessional beyond belief.

Unfortunately the negative reviews here reflect my own experience. Despite being promised "a member of the conveyancing team is always available" I wasn't able to contact anyone over two days. The receptionist finally found someone who promised me a call-back, and a confirmation email, the following day. Didn't happen, and I'm still waiting. This morning I finally gave up, and have approached another firm. Honestly, if LP "pride ourselves on our customer service" I'd hate to see what they're like on a bad day. Do yourself a favour - hire someone local, pay a little extra, and don't bother with this unprofessional firm. Your blood pressure will thank you for it.

One star only because I couldn't give a zero! All of the negative reviews you will find online are true! Our buyer is using this company and they are an absolute joke! Our solicitors, estate agents and buyer have been trying to get them to exchange and complete for three weeks now. And for the first two weeks they ignored all calls and emails from everyone including their own client. They have since requested irrelevant information from my buyers lender (confirmed by said lender to be completely pointless as they had already made an offer!!). All parties in our small chain (buyer - us - onward purchase) had agreed a completion date of the 27th July and yet we are still waiting for these comedy solicitors to pick up the phone and respond!! We accepted the offer on our house in early March and solicitors were instructed within a couple of weeks. Yet we are still not moved! We are now approaching the 5 month mark and our onward purchase is in jeopardy. Please do not use these 'solicitors' if you can even call them that!

DO NOT USE They will make a stressful process 10 times worse! Extremely poor, deliberately obtuse and slow to react. I sent my documents to them by special delivery on Monday because I am on a very tight schedule, They didn't bother opening them until Friday afternoon and then called me at 4pm to tell me something was missing. This has cost me a week that I dont have!! They are not contactable by telephone, you have to leave voicemails which are never answered, and when I complained at the undue delays they told me I was free to pick another solicitor, which I have done, but they still have my £325.00 initial deposit which I will probably never see again.

Save yourself the disappointment! We have been n the receiving end of these totally unprofessional jokers for the purchase of our house for near 4 months now. They have given their clients 0% communication and have only now we have set a deadline started to do any work. Lazy, rude and nearly uncontactable. Please, Please, Please do not take any notice of the large amount of fake reviews on these guys. They are just awful.

Do not use Lambert pugh you will have to chase them every day to get them to do anything, they do not answer calls so you never get to speak to anyone email is the only contact you will have if they ever reply, we had Rebecca Samways dealing with our sale and purchase. we have had to do work ourselves sorting out things to get it moving along, we have been given lots of reasons why things have not been done ( every one has been on holiday , telephone line as been down BTs fault , not received emails ,no one is replying to requests for information etc these people should not be doing this work, avoid using them.

As soon as they received our money, they did nothing. My partner and I had to chase on numerous occasions as no-one could get hold of Ashley Roe including the purchaser's solicitors. Voicemails were never replied to. There were unnecessary delays and our purchasers Solicitor was at least 2 weeks ahead of Ashley Roe. At one point, we were in danger of losing our sale, and what should have been a straight forward process, ended up being incredibly difficult. Simply put, if you use Lambert Pugh, be prepared for lazy, excuse-making incompetence.

lease do your research before using this company! Inexperienced staff, non returned calls, commission driven selling of unnecessary indemnity policies, delays that nearly cost us the move and the conveyancer went on holiday on the day of our move and didn't leave any file notes. Incorrect final statement leaving me short by £10k. A truly awful, rude and cash grabbing company - avoid or regret it.

I used lambert Pugh for my sale and purchase. They were fab! I was worried at the start because of all the bad reviews but I had no problems what so ever. After my previous experiences with conveyancing solicitor firms (other firms) I thought I would have to chase them much more than I did. The whole process was done within 3 months including 2 weeks of that being me searching for a new home! The seller was very slow in doing anything but my solicitors were fab chasing her solicitors up and keeping me informed. I didn't need to ring them they always responded to my emails within a day- but mostly within a couple of hours. These were the cheapest by far and I was so pleased with them!

DO NOT USE. A COMPLETE WASTE TIME! I am in the process of selling my property to the local council and due to strict financial deadlines require a quick sale. One of their representatives contacted me straight away following a comparison quote online. The Guy on the phone advised that they would be able to meet my needs so I agreed to proceed with them. After the initial phone call I did not receive any further information and had to phone the guy several times before receiving a welcome pack and details of the solicitor dealing with my case. The following day I contacted the solicitor directly via email and she responded by stating that my property was not registered on their system. They then advised that they would get their new business team to contact me so that they could open a file. I am yet to hear from them and have now instructed a local firm. this company have cost me valuable time and I am now at risk of losing the sale on my property. I do not understand why they would contact me and then fail to proceed.

For the price I paid they provided a very good service, struggled to find cheaper. Managed my sale and purchased which where complex cases due to problem above and bellow the chain Easy to contact and very punctual and did exactly what was required. Few little problems but wound use again / recommend.

Just stay away from them. They are a waste of time and money. Because of them I lost more than £2,000 on a deal that never materialized at the end. If you have any question or if you need to talk to someone, just forget it. They will never call you back and they reply with emails after weeks. Very unprofessional and I can't understand why they are still in the business....

Do not use !!!! We have had an awful experience with them . We completed in August 2015 we only got our title deeds June 2016. They have not given us our cashback given to them to pass onto us by the bank. They have found other hidden cost post completion. We almost lost the property we were buying as they were failing to communicate with the sellers solicitors . We could not ever get in touch with our conveyancer via telephone , she was always busy but never called us back. We had to resort to emails. We have many examples of the horrors we have been through. You are better of paying double than working with them . Our nightmare is not over with them . We continue to query matters . So please don't use !

I was kept informed regularly, I requested to have e mail contact rather than telephone and e mails were always replied to within 24 hours, most of the time the same day. She worked hard to ensure a pre 31st July completion and I would happily recommend and use again. It did genuinely appear that she cared about our needs.

Avoid this firm! They openly admitted they were not prioritising our case, lied about when they receive documents, never answer calls, do not update you on the progress of your case. Need I go on! Our conveyancer does not seem to know what she is doing, I have had to tell her what documents she will need! The is firm is cheap for a reason. If you want your s ale to fall through these are he guys for to u!

Having the worst experience with these guys , I am not legally allowed to name names how ever reading other reviews people have had the same experience as I am going through. The seller I who I am buying from is using the services of Lambert Pugh LLP. My conveyancing team / solicitors are having no luck what so ever in having the designated person at the firm to respond, it takes over 4 weeks to get information at a time form this person. It has got to a point I have had to send blind emails out to all emails address that can be found on line to get someone to respond. The amount of stress and money this is now costing me is making me loose sleep and is affecting my relationship. A process that should of taken no more than 3 months is coming up to 7 months now due to what appears to be a lack of professionalism, time wasting and ignorance. You may be lucky and be assigned to someone who is genuinely good at their job and wants to help out both parties or you maybe be assigned the person our sellers were assigned, which all I can say is good luck and be prepared for a lot of stress , sleepless nights and a dragged out process … Your choice , They are still the same , my seller is using them , my solicitors correspondence go unanswered ( Emails , Letter and Voice Mails never replied too ) These guys are by far the cheapest out there, there is a reason for this..... I am loosing sleep over the stress this is causing. very unprofessional , ignorant and quite frankly useless
